The Famous 309 Road

The 309 Road is a gravel road that takes you on a journey through dense bushland with lots of surprise stops to make along the road.

The Waterworks is your first stop along the way. Lots of fun and interaction at this great theme park. Make sure you allow plenty of time for this activity.  Visit the Maze, a new attractions for 2020. Purchase your tickets at the Coromandel  Information Centre- we have the best prices in town.

Next stop is the Waiau Waterfall, just  short work off the road, on a well-formed track. Sit a while or enjoy a refreshing swim.

Onto the Kauri Kauri Grove, this is a must to do. Stunning trees, one of our favourites.
