Kikowhakarere Bay

Just before you reach Oamaru Bay you will find what the locals call Kik Bay.

 Kikowhakarere is just a small bay with limited parking.

Lovely at both full and low tide. Low tide you walk out a long way to reach the water line. A great spot for the little ones for the first adventure of a paddle in the ocean.
