Into Centre Volunteer & Local Character ‘Bronnie’ Featuring on ‘Help Save the Kiwi’ on German TV
Having moved to Coromandel from the United Kingdom seven years ago, Bronnie was eager to get involved in community endeavours.
MEG Moehau Environment Group were looking for volunteers at the time to maintain traps in the nearby hills, protecting kiwi from predators. Bronnie loves being outdoors and contributing to the protection of our beautiful fauna and flora only seemed natural.
Her son Joel is a documentary maker for a Deutsche Welle, a German Television and online channel. He has often joined his mum on her traplines when visiting and decided to make a documentary about the work of MEG.
