The gateway to Paradise, 7km north of Coromandel Town, this camp is set against a backdrop of bush-clad hills with a beautiful swimming beach just across the road from the self-contained beachfront cabins, as well as Fisherman’s cabin within the camp. Permanent ‘weekenders’ dominate the camp, but a few powered sites are available for casual campers, plus tent sites. Boat parking/wash, fish filleting and freezer for your catch are available or you can try catching your own dinner, with a five minutes’ walk to the fishing spot. There are two serviceable amenity blocks and a kitchen. Seasonal rates apply.
