Get ready to inspect the suspects—because life is too short to drink out of an ordinary mug!
Join us at Driving Creek Gallery for Mugshots, a ceramic group exhibition that celebrates the humble mug with a playful twist. We’ve rounded up a lineup of over 30 incredibly talented ceramicists from all across Aotearoa—including a massive showcase of our favourite local makers. There will also be some of Barry Brickell’s amazing mugs to inspire everyone.
Come and see the vast talent on display, spanning everything from brightly coloured, vibrant statement pieces to raw, earthy, and experimental woodfired ceramics. This exhibition proves that no two mugs are created equal.
Whether you are looking to upgrade your morning brew ritual or find the ultimate one-of-a-kind gift, nearly every “suspect” on the shelf is looking for a good home and is available for immediate purchase. Come find the perfect piece that fits your hand, your style, and your coffee.
